Bicycle Film Festival is returning to Ann Arbor at the State Theater. Hosted by Bicycle Alliance of Washtenaw and sponsored and hosted by the Downtown Development Authority and Walk Bike Washtenaw.
This year, BFF Ann Arbor presents an international short film program with award-winning and emerging new talent. For lovers of pro cycling, gravel biking, mountain biking, youth culture, and more - this program will take you on a journey with passionate cyclists around the world. Bicycle Film Festival has been celebrating bicycles through art, film, and music over the last 24 years. The BFF has spanned the world in 100 cities worldwide to an audience of one million people.

About Bicycle Film Festival - Founded in New York in 2001, BFF has an incredible history of working with the most important artists, filmmakers, venues, and institutions around the world. The international locales included Paris, London, Tokyo, Shanghai, Mexico City, Cape Town and Istanbul and more at some of the most important venues such as Sydney Opera House and the Barbican or an old factory in Zurich. The subcultures of cycling have shared equal billing with the most exciting innovators in music, art, design and film. Participants have included: Erykah Badu, Karl Lagerfeld, Francesco Clemente, Shepard Fairey, Albert Maysles, Michel Gondry, Spike Jonze, Alex Katz, Kaws, Mike Mills, Paul Smith, the Neistat Brothers, Tom Sachs, Ridley Scott, Kiki Smith, Swoon, and Ai Weiwei.

- Olympian and queer cyclist, Lea Davison proves that you don’t have to choose between who you love and the sport you love
- A group of actors tour an original play by bicycle
- The story of 17-year-old Nigel James, a Diné mountain biker who hosts the first ever Enduro race in the Navajo Nation, and honors their land, community, and culture through revitalizing trails
- A man finds his stolen bicycle and it now belongs to a stranger (Oscar Nomination)
- A bicycle takeover and one of the United State's largest, most anticipated street riding events on the bikelife calendar attracting riders from the wheeling
